Job Accountabilities

Minimum operating and transit losses 

1. Verify calibration of Hydrometers and Thermometers used in Laboratory, Tank farm and Road Gantry periodically and also for Retail outlets for right accounting of products and Loss / Gain.

Reduction in costs

1. Optimal use of use chemicals and consumables

2. Monitor and control  costs against budget

3. Coordinate with Technical Services Jamnagar for disposal of off spec.

Achievement of Q & Q proposition and customer satisfaction

1. Analyze  various product samples (including RO samples) and publish Test results timely along with uploading in LIMS for on time release of products

2.  Responsible for arranging maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment by competent authorities wherever required

3. Verification of two hourly densities vis-à-vis batch formation density and monitor quality of Products stored at Location.

Total compliance to Operations, HSSE, and Quality management system and maintenance procedures

1. Ensure adherence to IQCM in all receipt, storage and delivery operation by all departments to ensure quality assurance to the customers

2. Undertake QC audit once in six months

3. Compliance of all ISO requirements

4. Investigate cases of density variation if any due to layering etc. at terminal and complaints on the same received from ROs /customers and initiate appropriate action/advise

5. Ensure use of PPEs and system of work permits

6. Coordinate to fulfil all statutory requirements

7. Co-ordinate for procurement of laboratory glassware and chemicals/ consumables.

Learning and Development

1. Total compliance to Operations, HSSE, and Quality management system and maintenance procedures.

2. Also share/train lab assistant, gantry in-charge and tank-farm in-charge on all the test methods/test procedures including calibration of lab equipment

3. Conduct toll box talks to TT crew and Agency staff on sampling and gauging
