Job Responsibilities :

.

• Administrative assistance to HOD
• Shall be responsible for architectural concept design, presentation packages, detailed design and construction documentation for all projects.
• Shall be well conversant with municipal bye laws and domestic / international norms for safety and compliance
• To develop & guide all standard deliverables within department.
• Plan required manpower and infrastructure facilities for group & review requirement periodically
• Assess training needs of subordinates to upgrade their engineering skill
• Review performance of subordinates & identify their strengths and weaknesses and suggest measures of improvement
• Review of man-hour estimate and trend.
• Optimize resource utilization
• Ensure timely issue of deliverables & take mitigating actions to avoid delays / slippages of deliverables
• Compliance to project specific HSE design practices.

Education Requirement :

•  Architecture Degree from accredited college or university

Experience Requirement :

• 15 years minimum experience of which at least 8 years of experience working on industrial architecture
• As a lead has worked for medium / large size projects. 4-5 projects should have been completed
• Site experience desirable

• Knows how to interpret scope of work & set up the work plan for the department on complex projects
• Knows how to coordinate technical issues with other departments
• Communicates discipline man-hour and manpower planning to HOD
• Understands interdisciplinary interface issues
• Knowledge of QMS
• Good communication & presentation skills
• Takes action to eliminate technical skill gaps
• Captures & reviews lessons learnt database for implementation for future projects
• Knows how to conduct annual performance reviews, coaching, and career development discussions with employees
• Identifies and recommends work process improvement
• Knowledge of Indian as well as other international code of practices for industrial and institutional buildings
• Knowledge of development control rules and general building requirements
• Knowledge of fire and life safety
• Written and verbal presentation skills
• Knowledge of innovative design leading to value engineered product without compromising quality and aesthetics
• Working knowledge of 3D presentation packages such as 3D Studio Max
