• Purpose of the Role - To perform electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment reliability and safety. This includes executing scheduled and emergency repairs, adhering to standards and procedures, managing inventory, supporting projects, and maintaining documentation. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, analysing costs, and ensuring compliance with HSEF standards
• Execute maintenance plan by ensuring the quality for safe and reliable operation of plants
• To ensure the availability and safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment in the plant by timely and effective, predictive, and preventive maintenance

• Responsibilities -
• Policies, Processes and Procedures -
• Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Keep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
• Develop test procedures and formats; Standardize and implement best practices and group guidelines for electrical equipment improvement
• Maintenance Planning -
• Execute maintenance schedules plans on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for electrical activities in coordination with planning and plant maintenance teams
• Maintenance Operations -
• Perform critical electrical maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to highest quality standards
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts related to electrical equipment, including identification of spare parts, tracking inventory levels, inspection of received materials, and ensure availability and standardization of critical spares
• Support in troubleshooting, as well as perform repair and refurbishment of electrical equipment/ components
• Participate in Task-based risk assessment for all critical activities and ensure all activities are executed with proper permit and risk assessment
• Implement MOCs and CAPEXs flawlessly.
• Plant Maintenance Planning-
• Participate in electrical maintenance cost and budgeting and adherence to the same to ensure efficient utilization for the plant.
• Execution of maintenance plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for electrical activities in coordination with planning and plant maintenance teams.
• Check the availability of resources to handle day-to-day electrical maintenance activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of all recommendations on time.
• Implement life cycle plan / 5-year Obsolescence plan 
• Compliance & Documentation -
• Ensure compliance with all PM and PdM plans.
• Ensure compliance with CAT and Meridium recommendations.
• Participate in safety committees and implement action plans.

• Necessary: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Electrical stream) or a Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Electrical stream) (Preferred)
• Desired:

• Necessary: 1-3 years of experience for degree in industrial / Electrical workshop maintenance (field/industry/domain) - Two years hands on experience is preferred

• Knowledge of maintenance practices of Transformer, HT/ LT motor, VSD, UPS, battery charger, battery set, Switchgear, and protection system.
